It was a normal day at work today at the company that sells water coolers. A little cold in the morning when I got up, but nothing out of the ordinary for this time of year. As expected when I went to my car it was slightly iced over, and very cold when I got into it. You could see the steam when you breathed out. The journey to work was slightly slower than usual. I think people were being cautious due to the cold temperatures and the possibility of ice being on the roads, which was fair enough because at the end of the day nobody wants to crash. I got to work on time and settled down on my computer. After about an hour I went into the warehouse to get a drink. And looking around the warehouse I couldn’t help but notice a large amount of boxed water coolers. There were about 50 of them on the top shelf. They were the desktop variety of water coolers and I believe they had been in the warehouse for over a year. They were only small boxes so the coolers inside must have been very small. Maybe that why they were finding it hard to be sold? I’m not sure why no one wants to buy them because I would think it could be very advantageous for a company to buy a few of these coolers for their staff. The main reason being that staff would not have to keep getting up and down for a drink because they would always have access to water fight beside where they are sitting. And secondly it would keep staff hydrated and more focused on their work.
